This guy lives under my Clu and I see him on the running trail at times. Today I was running to Moment For Life and there was a camel. I know for sure I will never forget this day... I didn't have a camera but it will forever be with me:) I love you all and have a great day today and if you slow down for a moment in this crazy world you'll feel my love all the way from Africa.

Djibouti Pick Up Lines
.After today a day with a ship visit....I have heard almost every pick up line invented. I have now discovered what is worse then a Sailor that's been away at sea it's a Marine. After dealing with 10 Marines I asked them are you with the ship and they said "Why are you trying to get rid of us?" and I said " Yes Sir I am" of course he was laughing out loud. So these are the famous pick up lines. Do you want to hang out? Do you want to go running together? Can I take you to the best restaurant here? Which is the galley...lol Or the I can fix or take care of that for you if you accompany me here. The best one came from my Ethopian Husband... While you are in Africa you will never want for anything. For every bad guy there is still good ones:)
Bazaar
I did not blog about this before because it was so much work. It was a great day I was able to make 55,000 dollars for local Djiboutian Vendors. The NEX did not make $ but it was a good day for Camp since at the time there was no Liberty. One of my workers invited the dancers and a Djibouti Idol. I paid them out of pocket my Christmas gift to Camp. It was really cool to see the Camps mind off the mission for a little while anyways. Also knowing some will never leave Camp not their comfort level. For me it's like try to keep her on Camp.
Christmas Package
Christmas from my baby:) I would just like to point out to my family my broke daughter who lives on her own and Aunt Rita are the only people writing me :( ...to that Austin said he mailed me diamonds but they are being held up in customs due to their exuberant value. LOL
Djiboutian Henna
We are having customer appreciation night tomorrow so I let my Djiboutian Associates do the henna on me. Amazing how many Djiboutian men told me how beautiful I looked they really like hands. Austin hated it.
On another note it is now an every day occurrence for a Djiboutian man to be in ladies restroom...today I was like how can I be on a Camp with Army,Navy,Air Force and Marines and still have this happen. I think Djiboutian men have more rights here. I told my co workers next time I'm going to roll up my pants and flash my legs at them maybe they'll go away. Just a Djiboutiful Day!!!!!
Green Bean
I took over Green Bean Coffee November 1 and it has just been one more thing added to my plate. We have had multiple power outages last week. I have been working with them more because they are a 24/7 operation. The kid working there emailed his boss in California and said Amy and Orlizia are like a machine no matter what time I call them they come.I never seen women like them. Lol...Djiboutian man perspective.

Trip with Subway Crew
I had to take crew to pick up their paychecks. We also went to Djibouti grocery store. I did not expect to see Christmas Trees there. The only bad thing that happened was one of the Djiboutians I fired for theft was there but he hugged me and said he was sorry. I was taken aback it could have been another reaction. For my dear brother Michael I only speak Spanish and French when I'm off Camp all the Djiboutians think I'm Spanish. I am always careful. It is not easy to stay on camp 24/7. I love you all. I talk with NCIS if I need help going off Camp...xoxo

Respecting the uniform
Hi all I am teaching English out in town today had to wear uniform. I'm going with Civil Affairs.I will meet the Djiboutuan who wrote their national anthem. Don't worry it's best I'm in uniform I won't stand out.I can not make up this story. So Army guys are teaching English to Djiboutian soldiers. This is the dialog they have learned Hi I am Abdi. I am not married. I am single. Also they can sing I want to know what turns you on by Joe. Lol I can't listen to that song again. They wanted to see my pictures and I was showing them and I forgot about a revealing picture on my phone very interesting reactions! You only get one life better to try new things.
