I was so busy with work and adjusting to life in US but I did have a party for my friends .

I'm thankful for you!

These are the  turkeys Alissa & Britny brought home through the years! This one makes me laugh always she tells what she's thankful for and there is no mention of her sisters! I hung them over the table .

Also have all their turkey hands!

The little pins are Macy's Day balloons!

The leaves are the to represent the acts of kindness the family is to do for others , the rose petals are the love and the light is letting yourself shine! Ali and I cooked everything then I ran 4 miles came home to finish the turkey and drank too much wine!

My Christmas Tree

I made the seashell ornaments they look cool with lights!

My old Peace pine cone wreath broke so I made a new one . It looks good too. Ali is inspiring me!

I put my African bracelets and necklaces on the tree. Ali loves it . 

The bottom is my necklaces they go all around.

Still working on tray almost done.

I had to do the tree early because my job.  I am working many hours now until midnight Wednesday and 0400 day after Thansgiving but still it is better than Djibouti where I worked on Thanksgiving.

I always put a wreath indoors too for the family not just for outsiders! I really want Peace on Earth and in all our Hearts!! Peace out!

Thick Skin

While waiting to go on Rockin Roller Coaster Ali tells me her teacher gave them an assignment to pretend they have a time machine and can go back to Revolutionary War and she says she doesn't need a time machine she can ask her parents....and here I thought I was a young hip mother?! I'm going to need thicker skin to make it past the teen years with this one.

This was the last year for the famous Christmas lights!

3 Djibouti Customers

Yesterday my 3ird Djibouti customer came to the store. It is funny the reaction and that we did not know how close we lived. This one was a cop I dealt  with so many times. He might come for Thanksgiving. It is a very small world .

Impact of Kindness

I got another award from our SVP . It was unexpected . Another unexpected thing I have experienced is how my kindness to the customers transcends . I was working the sales floor and the 143 soldiers saw me and they picked me up and were saying OMG we haven't seen you for a decade! My new boss is watching this . I tell them one year not a decade ! Then they say you look beautiful  ! You always did but now you are breathtaking! They put me down and I say to my boss I just make their sandwiches ! To that they said no you made our day everytime we come in here. I cried! I've had vendors who no longer work for us come welcome me back . It is nice to know what you do matters no matter where you are.

First VIP visit less than a month in. 

Thelma & Louise

We had our SVP visit but also a fashion show so we got to leave and when we gps'ed the location it said Miami and of course we wanted to just follow it and not come back . 

All work and no play no way!
